Placerville, CA…Russell Motorsports Inc. has announced this Saturday’s “Tilford Tribute” at Placerville Speedway has been canceled due to the wet weather.
With the extensive amount of rain that has fallen already the decision was made to call off tomorrows event with the saturated grounds. Over two and a half inches of precipitation fell in the area on Thursday, making the track surface and pit area unusable for competition.
Next up for Placerville Speedway will now be “First Responders Night” on April 30th.
If you are looking for a racing fix the RMI managed Sprint Car Challenge Tour competes at Merced Speedway tomorrow with 75-degree weather forecasted. Tickets will be available at the front gate, which opens at 5pm. Flo Racing is also providing live coverage.
