Placerville, CA - The Placerville Speedway would like to welcome back Coors Light as official beer partner of the El Dorado County Fairgrounds based quarter-mile in 2022. The always anticipated Coors Light Big Trophy Night will also converge at the Placerville bullring on Saturday August 6th.
It doesn’t get better than grabbing an ice-cold Coors Light at the beer booth, hanging with your closest racing friends in the stands and watching the famed Placerville red clay shoot through the air during hot laps. Other favorites will also be served this year including Coors Banquet, Blue Moon, Truly Wild Berry on tap, Hop Valley IPA, Sol, Oil Can (Fosters), Angry Orchard, Smirnoff ICE and Mike’s Hard Lemonade.
This Saturday night the Placerville Speedway opens its 57th season of competitive racing action with the opening Hoosier Tires championship point race. Tackling the famed red clay on opening night will be the Thompson’s Winged 360 Sprint Cars, the Mountain Democrat Ltd. Late Models, the Red Hawk Casino Pure Stocks and Mountain Democrat Mini Trucks.
Adult tickets for the championship opener this Saturday March 19th cost $18 while seniors 62+, military and juniors 12-17 will be $16. Kids 6-11 cost $8 and those five and under are free. Purchase tickets online at https://www.eventsprout.com/event/points-race-1 or at the gate on race day.
One week later on March 26th the Sprint Car Challenge Tour presented by Elk Grove Ford and Abreu Vineyards will launch its campaign at the track alongside the USAC Western States Midgets and BCRA Lightning Sprints.
The Placerville Speedway is located on the beautiful El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville, California. Take Hwy US-50 to Forni Road/Placerville Drive exit.
