This Saturday’s event will be part of the Competition Carburetion “2020 Send It Tour!” The driver with the fastest lap in both the Ltd. Late Model and Pure Stock main events will go home with $50 cash respectively, along with being entered into the Competition Carburetion Fast Lap grand prize drawing of $500 at the end of the season.
The company will also be adding extra money to both divisions, allowing the Ltd. Late Models and Pure Stocks to compete for full weekly purses on June 13th.
“We want to thank Bob Oliver with Competition Carburetion for coming on board the event this Saturday,” said Placerville Speedway Promoter Scott Russell. “It will be a nice perk for the driver with the fastest lap in both the Ltd. Late Model and Pure Stock features to go home with an additional $50. His support is also a crucial part in allowing us to award full purses in both divisions, even without having fans in the stands. We hope to see solid fields of cars this weekend in each class.”
The grandstands will be closed to the public this Saturday and no tickets will be sold for the event. The night of racing will be the next step however, in getting closer to having fans back in the stands. The pit gate will open at noon, with pit passes $40 for members and $45 for non-members.

About the 2020 Send It Tour:
In these difficult economic times, Competition Carburetion initiated the 2020 Send It Tour to help tracks throughout the country get a fresh start on the racing season.
