Vista Junior Eagles football team in attendance for Student Night this Saturday!

We look forward to having members of the Vista Junior Eagles football team in attendance for Student Night this Saturday! Jay’s Mobile Welding & Fabricating Pure Stock driver Jesse “The Savage” Bryant is a member of the football team and is excited to have his teammates on hand to cheer him on during the night.

“I’m really enjoying my first season of football as a Vista Junior Eagle. The team has been very welcoming, supportive and them wanting to come out and watch me race, knowing we have a jamboree that day that ends around 4pm is very cool. I appreciate the team as well as the parents for bringing them up to have a great time at the track. Last weekend we had a scrimmage and I got to the speedway just in time to jump in the car. It’s crazy to think that I’m just 13 and playing football along with driving a race car.”

Bryant is currently fourth in the Jay’s Mobile Welding & Fabricating Pure Stock standings and is the front runner for Rookie of the Year honors, which he looks to wrap up with two races remaining. The 13-year-old will also be part of the pre-race autograph session from 4pm-5pm on Saturday.

“I’m very blessed to have my dad Jay and mom Emilie making sure they get me everywhere I need to be and doing everything they can to give me such blessed life. I love having my racing family and my Vista Family. My dad has taught me you finish what you start and there is no quitting, so juggling both sports has been a little difficult but I’m a better person because of it. The conditioning of football has helped me improve in my race car as well. For my team to be at the track and be a part of me winning Rookie of the Year is awesome. To my knowledge I’d be the youngest driver to accomplish that so it will be pretty special.”

Students will receive grandstand admission for just $10 this Saturday by showing your Student ID at the box office. Live music will be performed in the grandstand midway by Kylie Segura from 4pm-6pm and Coors Light Happy Hour will also occur at that same time.

Adult tickets this Saturday will cost $15, while seniors 62 plus, military and juniors 12-17 will be $13, children 6-11 are $6, kids five and under are free! Tickets can also be purchased online by clicking https://www.universe.com/events/2019-placerville-speedway-championship-pts-race-14-student-night-tickets-placerville-9Z26NJ
