Sierra Child & Family Services Night coming to Placerville Speedway on June 22nd


Placerville, CA…The next event on June 22nd at Placerville Speedway is Sierra Child & Family Services Night! They will have a booth set up to talk about the services they offer with race fans.

The evening also doubles as Mtn. Democrat Kids Bike Night, in which all kids 11 and under receive free admission. We are still accepting donations if you or your company would like to donate a bicycle or anything else for the kids during the night. Please email office@placervillespeedway.com with any donations.

At Sierra Child & Family Services, their mission is to help families reunite, to stop cycles of abuse, to provide special education services and behavior management skills and to assist families in successfully living together. Their staff shares a common goal to help children with genuine emotional challenges to function in the outside world and live in the least restrictive setting in which they can thrive.

Sierra Child & Family Services are professionals in Adoption and Foster Care. Divisions that will tackle the Placerville Speedway on Saturday June 22nd include the Thompson’s Family of Dealerships Winged 360 Sprint Cars, Ltd. Late Models, the Jay’s Mobile Welding & Fabricating Pure Stocks and Mini Trucks.

An autograph session featuring some of the young guns in competition including Jodie Robinson, Jesse Bryant and Bubba Decaires will take place pre-race, along with live music and Coors Light Happy Hour from 4pm-6pm. The pit gate will open at 2pm, with the front grandstand gate opening at 3pm. Drivers meeting will be held at 4:30pm, with cars on track for wheel packing at 5. Hot laps, ADCO Driveline and Custom Exhaust qualifying and racing will follow.

The Placerville Speedway is located on the beautiful El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville, California. Take Hwy US-50 to Forni Road/Placerville Drive exit.
