Placerville, CA – March 5, 2019…The Placerville Speedway is pleased to welcome Jay’s Mobile Welding & Fabricating as title sponsor of the Pure Stock division for the upcoming 2019 racing season.
The Jay’s Mobile Welding & Fabricating Pure Stocks will compete in a total of 15 events this season at the Placerville Speedway.

Jay’s Mobile Welding & Fabricating has been in business since 2005 and has over two decades of welding and fabricating experience. Every project, no matter how big or small, receives the same quality and attention. Jay’s prides themselves on the fact that they have mastered the ability to fuse quality, safety and design into all its projects.
Over the years Jay’s Mobile Welding & Fabricating has had the opportunity to work on many different types of projects all over California. They are a Sacramento based company that provides mobile welding services as well as in the shop. Jay’s specializes in ADA Compliant Fabrication, e.g. hand and cane rails.

The track has a special place in my heart with my grandfather living in Pollock Pines. I told him when I was 10-years-old that I would race at Placerville Speedway one day and luckily he got to see me once before he passed. I always think of him as I roll through that gate. We have a lot of special things planned throughout the year for the division so I’m really looking forward to it!”
The 2019 Placerville Speedway season opens with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series making their annual appearance for the 49er Gold Rush Classic presented by Riebes NAPA Auto Parts on Saturday March 23rd. With the Saturday date coming open it marks the first time that the event will be held on a weekend. Also competing at the much-anticipated show will be the Elk Grove Ford Midgets. Just one week later the Sprint Car Challenge Tour presented by Elk Grove Ford and Abreu Vineyards will kick-off its third season of action with the Spring Fever Frenzy on March 30th. It makes for two back-to-back huge weeks of racing to launch the Placerville Speedway season. The BCRA Midget Lites will act as the companion class during the evening.
