The event honors early Placerville Speedway Promoter Al Hinds, who passed away in 2004. This Saturday marks the 20th anniversary of the race held in his memory.

Grandstand seating for a majority of weekly shows has gone back to general admission, apart from the reserved seats for season ticket holders.
Reserved seating will remain in place for select big events including both nights of the Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial in June, the 4th of July event, the Nor*Cal Posse Shootout, Monster Trucks in September and the Hangtown 100.
