Carnett Clash welcomes local track racers to boost field at Placerville Speedway August 2nd

Placerville Speedway has announced that the $500-to-start Pure Stock portion of the Carnett Clash next week will be open to multiple competitors from various tracks throughout our region.

The requirements are to be legal at your home track, including tire specifications. All cars must run a 4412 carburetor with a stock choke horn and pass the go/no gauge inspection. Teams will need to announce what track rules they are registering.

The following track divisions will be allowed to compete at the August 2^nd running of the Carnett Clash:

Silver Dollar Speedway Hobby Stocks

Fallon, Nevada Hobby Stocks

Marysville Raceway Hobby Stocks

Petaluma Speedway Hobby Stocks

IMCA Hobby Stocks

Antioch Speedway Hobby Stocks

With $500-to-start the feature, expect an intense, high stakes night of racing that honors the passion and dedication that Bryan brought to the track.

The Pure Stock portion of the program will be show up points only during the night.

It has also been announced that the Ltd. Late Model winner will take home a $1,500 bonus during the event as well.

Winged 360 Sprint Cars and the Mini Trucks join the Pure Stocks and Ltd. Late Models this Saturday.

For those who can’t make it to the track, CaliDirt.TV will provide live flag-to-flag coverage of every Placerville Speedway point race this season. The live streaming service also includes each event with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour. Fans can purchase through a cost savings monthly membership or on a per race basis via https://calidirt.tv/

The Placerville Speedway is located on the beautiful El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville, California. Take Hwy US-50 to Forni Road/Placerville Drive exit.
