By Bill Sullivan, Handy Racing Promotions Media Relations
PLACERVILLE, CA (4-16-13) - From the sidelines, they look like cute little pedal cars that many of us had as children. However, these little machines pack a punch that will thrill even the newest racing enthusiast, especially youngsters and their drivers themselves are just as entertaining. They are the Nor Cal Dwarf Cars and this Saturday they will be giving the fans of Placerville Speedway a closer look at themselves.
From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., nearly all of the Nor Cal Dwarf Car drivers will have their cars on display at 126 Forni Road in Placerville outside of the Thompson Auto Center building. This building houses a number of automotive related businesses as well as RPM Photo Art which has teamed with the Nor Cal Dwarf Cars to present this special car show for the fans.
Fans of all ages will be able to see these mighty machines up close and even climb in them if they desire. The drivers will be on hand, many with candy for the kids as well as autograph cards for the fans. They encourage families to bring their kids out to the car show and show their support for local racing.
Later that night, the Nor Cal Dwarf cars will be one of four divisions in competition at Placerville Speedway along with the winged sprint cars, limited late models and pure stocks for the third championship point race of the season.
