PLACERVILLE, CA (4-12-12) - Due to heavy rains that saturated the grounds well into Thursday night, the officials of Placerville Speedway have officially called off the race for this Saturday, April 14. We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this brings to area fans. Although the forecast for Saturday is currently clear the amount of water in the grounds will not permit a track that would be competitive nor safe to both drivers and fans.

Racing will return to the El Dorado County Faigrounds next Saturday, April 21. The Sprint Cars will headline the billing next Saturday night and will be joined by the Limited Late Models and the Pure Stocks. Joining the three track regulars will be the exciting coupes of the Nor Cal Dwarf Car Association. The pit gate will open at 2 p.m. on Saturday with the main grandstands opening at 5 p.m. for spectators.

Adult tickets are $13 for Saturday and available at the track box office. Seniors and Juniors are $11 while Children are $6. Those five and under will be admitted free.
