In addition to the Civil War regulars, many guest drivers are expected Saturday night as the Golden State Challenge Series sprint car campaign has wrapped up and many drivers from out of state have begun to arrive in California in preparation for the upcoming Pacific Sprint Fall Nationals next week in Chico. It's expected that a handful of those travelers will test and tune their machines in the California sun this weekend at Placerville or at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville on Friday night, which will host the Civil War Series prior to the Placerville finale. Entering this weekend double header finale, defending Civil War Champion Sean Becker of Oroville will lead the roster and will be looking for his second straight series championship aboard his Scott Miller owned #2sb sprint car An entry into secure Becker's title as he now holds a 104 point advantage over Sacramento's Herman Klein.
