PLACERVILLE, CA (6-15-09) - The office of Handy Racing Promotions Incorporated is proud to announce a second addition of "Wild Winged Wednesday" to the 2009 Civil War and Placerville Speedway schedule. The summer version of this proven successful event will take place on Wednesday, July 22 at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds.

Back on June 3, a capacity crowd packed the grandstands at Placerville Speedway and witnessed a night of racing that will be long remembered with thunder on the track and lighting in the sky. The night concluded with race fans and drivers thanking track management for "taking the risk" to produce a great night of racing. Now, we are ready to do it all over again on Wednesday, July 22.

This special late July event falls on a week that is ideal for scheduling, with no racing taking place at Placerville Speedway on the Saturday thereafter. Having one race during the week will go easier on race fans' wallets as attending two events in one week can prove challenging in the current economy.

Please mark your racing calendars for Wednesday, July 22 "Wild Winged Wednesday II" at Placerville Speedway. Gates will open at 5 p.m. followed by qualifying at 6:30 and racing at 7.
